Guadalajara. We're getting spoiled with all this fantasticly authentic Mexican food. Yesterday we had the pleasure of taking pictures and video for Victor, the owner of this wonderful cafe. He definitely knew what he wanted and wasn't shy about letting us know! This was fabulous, however, because it's always a little frustrating when a business owner has no idea what he/she wants and yet, they always figure it out after the shoot is over! Kudos for knowing ahead of time, Guadalajara. And my, my, my what fabulous food! Victor had us sample all six plates of food he made for the shoot and wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. That's hospitality for you.

Frida's

We had the oportunity to eat at a local place called Frida's last week. What a marvelous experience! If you're looking for Tex Mex, it's not here. Instead, you'll get a gourmet meal of colors and textures and tastes and sensations. We had a meal each plus an appetizer and we left with three to-go boxes.

We spoke with the manager that night and he indicated that he needed some promotional materials. We came by again and took some photos and video of the place and he loved them. How fabulous to be able to support local businesses and have our business supported by them!

Paige and Mack

It was a cold day when Paige and Mack did their engagement shoot. We were out in Lawrence and the wind was blustery as we traversed through the downtown streets and then onto campus. They were troopers, though, and shed their coats for some great pictures. Here's a sample of some photos.

Winter Wonderland

It's that time of year again. Not sure about everyone else out there, but we think the best thing about snow is all the pictures we can take. We love tromping through the snow and shooting all the photos we can get! Enjoy some quick images we've taken.

Also in Artistic Imagery Land, we covered a New Years party thrown by three couples as they renewed their vows. It was a crazy night and we'll get some pictures loaded soon.
