We were hoping for a little sunshine not to mention an early spring flower or two. Instead, we got snow. Geneva & Chad were good sports about it and even went outside on the porch for a couple fridgid shots. I know we talk about how delightful our couples are to work with, but Geneva and Chad were without a doubt the most flexible bride and groom we've seen for a long time. Perhaps it came from enjoying a nice 60 degree day the day before their wedding and then waking up to snow. Lots and lots of snow. But the weather wouldn't damper their spirit. From their Gerber Daisy theme to their bright orange, yellow, and pink bridal party wear, they made sure Spring was here. . . whether Mother Nature cooperated or not.

We were contacted by Courtney a couple months ago and she was helping plan her sister, Shannon & Scott's wedding. She said it was a simple ceremony and reception at the same location. We met with Shannon, Scott, and Courtney at the Rhaposdy in Lee's Summit, MO last January and prepared for their wedding day. They were all very laid back and said they prefered photojournalism style photography over a bunch of posed shots. Well, those are our favorites over here at Artistic Imagery so when their big day arrived, we came prepared to cover every moment of their day. Their day was very family-oriented from Shannon & Scott's little daughter being their flower girl to Shannon's brother being her "bridesman". What a fabulous time with a truly lovely family. Here's some quick images from their day.
