Ixtapa

Last night we finished up shooting on the third of our Mexican Resturant whirlwind tour: Ixtapa. This place of Mexican cuisine is located on Barry rd just down the street from Zona Rosa. Another fabulous experience. Another intimate, beautifully decorated place with great service and fabulous food. Yes, we sampled each of the bellow dishes. We were stuffed when we got home! What a great way to end the shoot, though.

Naka-Kon 2010

There is no way to truly describe Kansas City's Anime Convention but through pictures and video. On our end, we arrived at the Crown Center Hyatt on Thursday and left the following Monday quite exhausted. The convention itself ran from Friday through Sunday and was full full FULL of things to do and things to see and things to buy and interesting characters all around. If you've never been to a convention, the basics are nearly all the same. Music. Speakers. Pannels. Games. Contests. And of course, lots and lots of costuming. In anime speak, this is called Cosplay. Perhaps we can get some more images up here for you because that is the best way to see what we've experienced this past weekend. All we can say is Bless you, Con Suite for your free rice and ramen all weekend long.

Adrienne & Willy

We'd read an article just three weeks ago in INK about how the Pilgrim Chapel is one of the neatest spots for a wedding. The pictures were of a quaint little chapel made of stone resting on a hillside street in midtown. Let us tell you, it does look a litle different in January than in May, but the chapel was still quaint if not a bit chilly. Adreinne and Willy were very laid back. They wanted "no tradition" in their wedding and seemed at ease when at the last minute, their flower girl couldn't make it. Adrienne's daughter stepped into the place. There was snow on the ground but not dangerously so. It made for some beautiful pictures. The Brio Tuscan Resturant was a charming location for their intimate group at the reception. All in all, a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
