Weekend, etc

What a crazy weekend! Engagement shoots and a wedding and a new lens!!! First and foremost, we figured to post a couple pics Barb took on the way to the wedding this past Saturday. It was out in rural Kansas and it was pretty spectacular. She parked (quite illegally) on the side of the road to grab a couple shots that were just too cool to pass up.

Oh, and did we mention our new lens? For those in the know, it's a f/2.8 which allows for shallower depth of field and lower-light shooting without a flash. Here's an image Barb captured of Jade the cat (who is staring at who knows what) while testing the new lens out. How super.
