Tracy's Bridal photos

Tracy's bridal portrait session took place this past spring but we waited to post the blog until after her wedding (naturally!). We began at Union Station for some soft, romantic shots. Then we moved to midtown for some edgier, fashionista type shots. Tracy was a trooper along with her mom and two sisters. We loved that she was up for some of the craziest ideas!

For this next shot, Tracy really wanted some detail images of the ruffles in her skirt. We utilized the setting sunlight to capture the merangue-like waves.

Tracy saw a shot like this one in a magazine and brought it as something she wanted to duplicate. Very interesting.

This was the very last shot we captured that evening and it wasn't posed so much as grabbed as Tracy was getting up from her spot on the blanket. We just love sunsets. And brick. And cool wind-blown hair-I-am-a-model shots. Plus, we love love love the detail on her dress. Stunning! Congrats, Tracy! Your wedding was beautiful!

Senior Photos: Lauren

sas Lauren definitely seemed to dig the Crossroads vibe so we captured a lot of her there. And we got quite a few images of her rocking the aviators, but we will try to limit to just one posted image. And since we're pretty keen on those fun, candid shots, we posted a couple that we grabbed here as well. Here's Lauren! Congrats!

This next shot was taken while Lauren was taking a picutre of Jamie next to the Storm Trooper in the window of the costume shop. These girls crack me up!

Kansas City's Crown Center: Devra & Chris's Engagement

Devra & Chris met Barb at Union Station and we gallivanted all over the area. Chris was in town from work overseas so we jumped on the chance to capture his & Devra's engagement session this spring. It was treat to not only capture this special time the two of them had together, but also to showcase the best of KC. We were honored to be there to be a part of this day!

Jessica & John's engagement tribute

Jessica & John arrived at Mud Pie for their joint video/photo engagement shoot-- our first! It went like this: Photos, then a video interview. More photos and another video interview! Even More photos and their last interview!! The video clips will then be edited together to create Artistic Imagery's very first Video Engagement Session. These sessions will be added to our video & combo packages to be shown pre-wedding, pre-reception, or anytime! It's such a great, new deal that we've been cooking up and Jessica & John were so enthralled with the idea. So here we go: photos of some time on 39th st & of course, Liberty Memorial.
